Adjunct Instructor at ACT Graduate Conservatory

Last year, I assisted Danielle O'Dea in teaching Stage Combat to the Graduate students at American Conservatory Theatre. This year year Danielle has moved on to other things and I have taken up the mantle of Adjunct Instructor of Stage Combat. I could not be more excited to take on this endeavor. Getting to teach enthusiastic and excited students in a fabulous graduate conservatory is a dream come true. Working with students for more than a rehearsal period and more than a single workshop allows for a deeper understudying of one's own body and what one brings to the art of stage combat. This process has helped me delve deeper into my own pedagogical studies of stage combat. I am beyond stoked for this experience and cannot wait to work with these students! I am sure I will learn just as much as they will through this process.
